Cougars set to travel to Southern Regional for first round of playoffs

Yesterday, Saturday February 13, the NJSIAA (New Jersey State Interscholastic Athletic Association) released the official boys basketball playoff brackets. Originally, it appeared as if the Cougars would be the 9 seed and play Oakcrest, but the official bracket turned out differently.

The Cougars are the 10 seed and will travel to 7th seeded Southern Regional on March 2nd. East's first round matchup definitely bodes well for the team, as Southern traveled to East earlier in the season to take on the Cougars. In the game, East won 78-61.

If East wins their first round matchup, the Cougars will take on either 2nd seed Shawnee or 15th seed Cherry Hill West. The bracket can be viewed in its entirety and the link below:
